As Software Engineer, Salesforce at Cengage, you will immediately contribute to the ongoing expansion of our platform to enable Cengage’s continuing evolution towards digital learning. Your focus will include both solution engineering--in support of internal projects--as well as ongoing support of Cengage’s Salesforce.com (SFDC--SalesForceDotCom) platform and solutions. You will also gain an understanding of our business requirements, with the goal of designing, developing, and building out solutions that use our SFDC capabilities. This role will help ensure that the SFDC engineering team improves efficiency and utilizes the full range of features and benefits of the Salesforce systems with a bias towards “Click over Code” (configuration over custom development).
Working with a variety of stakeholders (platform owners, technical peers and business partners) you will help to ensure that maximum value is delivered to our internal clients, while demonstrating leadership and expertise with the full life cycle of the software development process.
Essential to your success will be solid communication, analytical and time management skills. In addition, you should express a desire to continually adapt in an ever-evolving environment; applying analytical and problem-solving to continually improve our offerings and solutions; with a resilient, flexible, and can-do personality.
Experience in providing solutions architecture and delivery for SFDC applications. Excellent analytical, technology, communication, decision-making, problem-solving and SFDC skills are required.
