You, as an Associate UX Designer will shape (strategy, research, design, innovate, implement, maintain, optimize) how customers discover, consider, use, and interact with our products on the web. You'll bring both the art of design and the science of human interaction to challenge the status quo and deliver an unparalleled experience.

    What You'll Do Here:

    Strategic

    • Support the balance between an alluring interface with an intuitive, and easy to use experience.
    • Assist in advocating for the user during the design and development process, subjecting early-stage designs to usability testing or expert review, and offering implementation suggestions from a user-centered design perspective.
    • Use research-related services, theories and methods to support your recommendations.

    Implementation

    • Support the visual hierarchy, behavior, and appearance of all new features and improvements on our web properties.
    • Participate in interface re-factorings for a more intuitive user-experience.
    • Develop wireframes, visual designs, and specifications
    • Build mockups and functional prototypes for regular usability tests.

    Skills You Will Need Here:

    • Undergraduate degree (or equivalent professional experience) in Visual Design, Web Design, Interactive Media, Computer Science, or a related technical field or 1+ years of equivalent practical experience.
    • Have an online portfolio of your work (designs, prototypes, and sketches) that you are excited to share.
    • 1+ years experience designing compelling websites, web applications, responsive web apps, eCommerce applications, emails, and landing pages at an agency or in-house corporation.
    • Proactive and deadline driven with ability to be highly collaborative.
    • Have the ability to achieve deadlines in fast-paced agile environment.
    • Motivated to learn and advance your career in User Experience.
    • Experience working with design and prototyping software such as Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, InVision and Acrobat.
    • A basic understanding of HTML5 and CSS3.
