Do you consider yourself a social media maven? You will help steward Cengage's employment brand and our team's social media strategy.

In this role you will also be responsible for the Cengage Internship experience and our college co-op program. You will work in partnership with Talent Acquisition Partners (TAP) to ensure that the end to end recruiting experience delights our prospects, our new employees and our hiring partners. As an integral member of our team you will provide support and partnership throughout the recruitment process.

What You'll Do Here:

  • Curate our employment brand content for use on all viable social media platforms.
  • Serve as subject matter expert on social media and work closely with the Talent Acquisition team to leverage social media resources effectively.
  • Work collaboratively throughout Cengage to coordinate and manage a national internship program
  • Coordinate and manage the Cengage college co-op program
  • Support and partner with candidates, TAPs and Hiring Managers/Leaders throughout the end to end recruiting process
  • Maintain Cengage's Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and career portal by opening and closing requisitions and updating job information as appropriate
  • Post and manage job advertisements on internal and external sites in coordination with the TAP
  • Coordinate a positive experience for all internal customers and candidates
  • Develop and disseminate all preparation materials for all participants in the process
  • Provide timely interview status updates to Talent Acquisition, hiring teams and candidates meeting all service level agreements
  • Ensure candidate feedback mechanisms are in place and complete, making the TAP aware of completion
  • Generate offer letters for review, approval and distribution
  • Execute and complete background and reference checks, providing timely status updates to all appropriate parties
  • Generate ad-hoc internal reports and respond to data accuracy requests
  • Participate in project work focused on delivering efficiencies and innovations to drive the TA operation
  • Submit and manage TA invoices/charges
  • General administrative work as needed


Skills You Will Need Here:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Strong social media chops
  • Fearless relationship building skills
  • Experience with internships/co-op ideally in Human Resources or related field
  • Ability to self-prioritize and stay organized in a dynamic, high volume, fluid environment
  • Ability to ensure the accuracy of highly detailed and confidential information
  • Customer focused and dedicated with excellent follow-up and a sense of urgency
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs; intermediate skills in Excel and PowerPoint
  • A desire to have fun and be part of a team that takes care of each other
