The Sales Support Specialist provides critical administrative support to the Academic Sales team to improve the productivity, effectiveness, efficiency, ROI, and partner satisfaction of the entire sales channel. The Sales Support Specialist partners with Account Management to grow partner sales by assisting in the execution of delivery plans to ensure academic partner success with Cengage’s products and services. This is a support role which provides daily administrative, operational, and marketing support to academic partners and/or Academic Sales team and is responsible for overall sales/administrative support for the
Academic Sales channel. The candidate must be able to effectively communicate at all levels; from students, to internal and external stakeholders, to higher education executives, to establish and build working relationships. The candidate must have an ability to understand business needs and execute on viable solutions to reach targeted goals.
