The National Geographic Learning K12 Digital Content and Experience Team provides a competitive advantage to the development and design of our programs by fueling digital product creation. Our mission is to champion best-in-class digital experiences that inspire learning by leveraging National Geographic content, design, and technology solutions.
We are seeking a Digital Program Manager with a strong technical and creative aptitude and proven experience managing digital product development and production teams.
The primary responsibility of this role is to directly manage four Digital Producers in consistent digital product innovation, development, and production workflows with our K12 Product teams. The position will report to the Director of Digital Content and User Experience.
Key skill areas and responsibilities of the role include:
Digital Content Product Development: possess a strong instinct and interest in how content can be structured, organized, and delivered for the greatest scale and impact.
Account Management: champion Product Directors, teachers and students as our primary clients; sincerely articulate and promote best-in-class digital product development and production in harmony with other teams; be frank yet tactful.
Business Analysis: identify business challenges around digital content development and support
Project Management: exemplify clear and succinct project and team management, bringing together cross-functional teams for on-time, on-budget results.
Process & Workflow Development: proactively identify areas of improvement throughout the digital product lifecycle and humbly offer potential solutions.
