As the Sales Manager for the Professional Team, you will be leading a sophisticated team to meet their fiscal goals and objectives in the non-accredited sales market for Cengage Learning.

 

 

What You'll Do Here:

  • Recruit, hire, and train a diverse sales team.
  • Set sales goals, compare performance to goals, and adjust goals as needed.
  • Assess current team processes and procedures, see opportunities for improvement, and implement them.
  • Develop individual quotas and assign territories for the Account Management team.
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts driven by analytics.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members.
  • Foster a driven yet collaborative team culture.
  • Assess individual performance through observation and measurement, and suggest corrective actions as needed

Skills You Will Need Here:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 5 years of leadership experience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proven track record to lead a team to reach sales objectives
  • Experience setting sales goals
  • Results-oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Deep understanding of CRM systems; including Salesforce
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
