What You'll Do Here:

The Data Steward handles the customer and prospect marketing database and related processes. This person works directly with Marketing, Sales Ops, and Technology to be the connective tissue between our systems to ensure data is accurate and complete.

The Data Steward role requires someone who can roll up their sleeves and dig into complex data sets to identify gaps, optimization opportunities and changes that will "move the needle" for both internal and external customers. This role is ideal for someone who is able to work with both technology administrators and senior level leaders to not only deep dive into the systems, but also to translate into a simple story.

 

Campaigns Optimization

  • Be the knowledge specialist for business-facing data needs for the organization, particularly with respect to understanding our customer segments
  • Work with marketing partners to identify data gaps in customer profiles and implement strategies to address.
  • Identify underserved and over-served customer segments to make recommendations for integrated campaign strategy
  • Work with analytics to develop customer profile dashboards

Data Quality Management

  • Audit integration related data flow and partner with technology & operations teams to resolve errors
  • Develop and implement database health monitoring around: contact profiles, marketing campaign engagement, email deliverability, and more
  • Work with MarTech Ops, Sales Operations, and IT to provide input to a master data management strategy
  • Optimize field utilization in the Marketing Automation Platform (Eloqua) in partnership with Marketing Tech Ops and Marketing Automation
  • Prioritize initiatives and build a roadmap for improving data quality in the MAP and CRM

Skills You Will Need Here:

  • Superb interpersonal skills: you will need to understand the needs of all level of marketing partners AND work with technical resources to make sure we have what we need
  • Be a curious problem solver: Demonstrable ability to find problems within data sets and implement solutions to fix
  • Be comfortable analyzing disparate data to develop a single, unified view of a customer segment or profile utilizing SQL
  • Experience using a data visualization tool like Tableau a plus
  • Experience working in Marketing Automation Systems and CRMs
  • BA/BS required, in Business, Data Science, or MIS preferred
  •  2-3 years business experience in a data related role required
